George Ferrandi

GEORGE FERRANDI is an artist with a hybrid studio practice and a rooftop garden in Brooklyn, New York. She works in a range of media, but often directly employs the poetics/specifics of her life as her context. She is director of Wayfarers Studio Program in Bushwick and teaches Sculpture and Performance Art at the Rhode Island School of Design. She also runs a business that restores statues of saints for churches, and has a wiry little dog named Santo. She is currently developing images from the “it felt like i knew you” project into a book, and preparing for upcoming shows at The Front in New Orleans in August, and at Wayfarers in Brooklyn in October. georgeferrandi.com
